Everyone knows blackerry, which is famous from it’s keyboard-phones and secure software. The new blackberry keeps this line with a physical keyboard, even if we are living a world of notches and infinity displays. Their new flagship is the KEY2, and it looks pretty awesome.
One world is perfect for it’s design, premium. There is metal frame all around the body, double camera system is on the back with also a metal, and the back is rough, makes the phone not slippery at all. Luckily there is a jack port on the port, a USB-Ctype 3.0 on the bottom between the speaker and the microphone. Gorilla Glass on the front (we don’t know which one). The QWERTY keyboard has an integrated fingerprint reader, and contains 45 keys.
Firstly there is no oled panel, rather a high resolution IPS LCD display with 433PPI (1620×1080, 24-bit). It also has an unusual asperpect ratio (3:2), as well as a small size, 4,5 inch. It looks good, not for gaming and movies but still usable for everyday tasks.
There couldn’t be any complaint about the performance, the Qualcomm SDM 660 does it job pretty well, and it has been paired with 6gb of ram. You can also expand the memory via SD car. The battery is 3500mAh, really big for that screen size and lasts always over 2 days. No stereo speakers, but Blackberry claims it performs like that.
Well, we know that blackberry customers do not really care about camera performance, rather security and the keyboard, but this phone has a really good camera system. It contains 12+12MP sensors with a dual tone flash.12MP Fov 79.3°, Large Pixel – 1.28um, F1.8, Dual Phase Detect Auto Focus (Dual PDAF)12MP Fov 50°, Pixel-1.0um, F2.6, Phase Detect Auto Focus4k Recording at 30 fps, but no stabilisation. The front camera is 8MP fixed focus, and can record FullHd @ 30fps
Blackberry newest flagship is for secure phone using, but it still performs like a 2018 flagship phone. The keyboard is really good to use, much better than a “screen keyboard”. Battery life is better than we would expect as well as the camera. If i should chose a phone for work, Blackberry KEY2 would be it for sure.
