Best value iPhone? Let’s check it out!
On September 12 Apple introduced 3 new phones, the XS and the XS MAX are premium devices with almost the same specs (just size and battery differs), and a lower priced, colourful (like the iPhone SE) and “cheap” XR.
The iPhone XR looks similar to the X on the front, but the materials aren’t as premium. It is bigger than the X, and the back feels a plastic, but it still has a nice hold. The XR comes in 6 colours, red, yellow, white, coral, black and blue. While the XS and XS MAX has IP68, the SR has IP67 rating and can withstand a depth of 1 meter for 30m. Instead of the OLED display, it has a 6,1” LCD display, Apple calls it Liquid Retina Hd, with 1792*828-pixel resolution and 326ppi.
The biggest improvement within the new iPhones was the processor, and despite the lower price tag the XR uses it as well. Check out details and the specs on the iPhone XS review here. Battery life improved by around 1.5 hours compared to the iPhone 8 Plus.
This is the point where it really differs from the flagship XS, the SR has only one camera on the back, whereas the selfie camera remained the same. The standalone lens has a 12MP camera with f/1,8 aperture with 5x digital zoom and portrait mode with bokeh and depth control. Of course there is optical image stabilisation, 4K video at 60fps and Quad-LED true tone flash. Slow-mo video is “only” at 240 fps, and the RS records stereo sound.
The new iPhone XR is one of the most powerful phone of the market, with a good camera and a secure Face ID unlocking system. Considering Apple’s prices, and the specs, we can easily say this is the best value iPhone, and at the top 5 within all smartphones. I would suggest it to anyone who can not afford a phone over 1000 dollar.
